An ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is the unique identifier Amazon assigns to every product. For your book, find it on your Amazon book page — it's in the URL after /dp/ or listed under Product Details. It looks like B0XXXXXXXXX or a 10-character code starting with 0 or 1.

Use the Keyword Research tool — enter a seed keyword related to your book's topic, and PublishRank generates up to 10 keyword variations with search volume indicators, competition scores, and an opportunity rating. Focus on keywords rated "High Opportunity" — high search volume, lower competition.

Use the ASIN Analyzer tool — enter any Amazon ASIN (yours or a competitor's) and PublishRank pulls the listing data, BSR history, estimated sales, keyword usage, and category placement. You can use this on any KDP book, not just your own.

Yes. You can add multiple books via the Book Monitoring section. Each book gets its own BSR tracking, listing score, and tool history.

BSR (Best Seller Rank) is Amazon's hourly snapshot of how well your book is selling relative to every other book in its category. A lower number means more sales. A BSR under 10,000 in a main category typically means daily sales. BSR affects your visibility — books with stronger BSR trends get surfaced more often in Amazon's browse and recommendation systems.

BSR is tracked daily. Amazon updates BSR hourly, and PublishRank captures daily snapshots so you can see your trend over time — whether you're climbing, holding, or declining.

It depends on your category. In competitive categories like Mystery or Self-Help, you'll need a BSR under 500 for strong daily sales. In less competitive niches, a BSR of 5,000–10,000 may still produce consistent sales. Use the Competitiveness Score tool to see what BSR the top 10 books in your category are achieving.

Your Book Visibility Score is a composite metric (0–100) that measures how discoverable your book is on Amazon. It factors in keyword coverage, listing completeness, category selection, review count relative to competitors, and BSR trend. It's your overall health score — anything below 60 means there are significant improvements you can make.

Use the Listing Optimizer tool. It scores your title, subtitle, backend keywords, book description, and category selection against best practices, then gives you specific improvement recommendations. Fix the items flagged as High Impact first — those have the biggest effect on your visibility and conversion rate.

Use the Category Finder tool — enter your book's topic (not the ASIN) and PublishRank finds the categories where top-performing books in your niche are actually placed. Then email KDP support with the exact category paths to request the change. Amazon typically updates categories within 24–72 hours.

PublishRank is $19/month. Annual plans are available at a discount. All 12 tools are included — there are no tiered plans or feature paywalls.

Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again after canceling.

Your book data, BSR history, and analysis results are preserved for 30 days after cancellation. If you resubscribe within that window, everything is restored exactly as you left it.
