Your Command Center

The Dashboard is where everything starts. It shows your onboarding progress, gives you quick access to every tool, and keeps your most important next steps front and centre at all times.

When you first log in, the Dashboard is designed to guide you through a clear onboarding checklist. Follow it in order and you'll go from a blank account to having a personalised 90-day action plan in under 15 minutes.

The Onboarding Checklist

While you're on your trial, a four-step checklist sits at the top of your Dashboard with a progress bar. Each step detects on its own when it's done from your real activity — you never tick anything manually — and the checklist disappears automatically once all four are complete:

Add your first book to monitoring

Enter your ASIN and click "Add My Book." This unlocks everything else — until you add a book, the other tools have nothing to analyse — and PublishRank starts tracking its BSR, reviews, and price daily.

Audit your listing

Run the Listing Optimizer to score your title, subtitle, description, and backend keywords, and get a ranked list of concrete fixes — highest impact first.

See your competitiveness score

See how your book stacks up against the top 10 in your category and exactly which dimension is holding your score back the most.

Generate your 90-Day Roadmap

Once you've run your analyses, generate your 90-Day Roadmap. It pulls from your actual tool results to create a week-by-week action plan specific to your book's gaps and your ranking goal.

What You'll Unlock

Below the onboarding cards, the Dashboard shows six feature highlights — one for each major capability. Here's what each one does:

  • Keyword Gap Map — finds the 2–4 word phrases your top competitors rank for that your listing is missing. These are the search queries you're currently invisible for.
  • 90-Day Roadmap — generates a week-by-week plan of specific tasks across 13 weeks based on your actual book data. Not generic advice — tasks built from your numbers.
  • Rank Momentum — tracks your BSR trend over time (improving, holding, or declining) and scores your category's saturation level. Needs 7 days of data to activate.
  • Competitiveness Score — scores your book against your top 10 competitors across 5 dimensions with your primary weakness called out.
  • Review Threshold — shows you exactly how many reviews you need to reach Top 100, Top 10, Top 5, and #1 in your category, based on live competitor data.
  • Listing Optimizer — audits your title, subtitle, description, and backend keywords against best practices and gives a score out of 100 with specific fixes.

Your Book Cards at a Glance

Below the checklist, each book you're monitoring gets its own card built to answer two questions instantly — "where do I stand?" and "what's the one next thing to do?":

  • A status pill next to the title — Just starting, Healthy, Needs attention, or Struggling — based on the book's health score.
  • Its current BSR, review count, and trend.
  • A one-line, plain-language read on the weakest area, so you don't have to interpret the numbers yourself.
  • A smart action button tailored to that status — it takes you straight to your existing roadmap, or to the listing improver when the listing is what's holding you back.

If you pause monitoring on a book, it doesn't disappear — its card stays on the Dashboard, dimmed with a Paused badge and a one-click Resume button. (If your trial lapses, books are paused automatically rather than deleted, so resubscribing and hitting Resume brings them straight back.)

Partway through your trial, the Dashboard also shows a reminder of how many days you have left, how many onboarding steps you've finished, and how many books you're monitoring — a quick gut check on whether to subscribe before the trial ends.

Not sure where to start? Follow this sequence for maximum impact in your first session:

    Add your book — click "Add My Book," enter your ASIN, click Add. Takes 10 seconds.

    Run Listing Optimizer — import your listing by ASIN. See your current listing score and which fields need work.

  3. 3

    Run Keyword Gap Map — enter your ASIN and find the keyword phrases your top 8 competitors rank for that your listing is missing.

  4. 4

    Run Category Finder — enter your book topic and find categories to request from Amazon KDP support (up to 10 total).

    Run Competitiveness Score — enter your ASIN and see exactly how you compare to your top 10 competitors and which dimension to fix first.
